For maximum Flexibility Gibson crafted this model-variation to the EB-0 Bass in 1961 with the same design but with an additional bridge-pickup: the EB-3; as the SG the EB-3 with the Lonscale neck soon found prominent users as Jack Bruce and Bill Wyman just to name two.
With the official blessings of the Mother-Company Epiphone presents a beautiful replica of the legendary bass like the original with a solid Mahogany body in the genius SG shaping.
Brilliant bass, well worth the money for it, has never let me down and has a great sound! is kind of heavy though and would suggest buying locking straps for it but great bass for all ranges and styles of music
Look, it isnt a Gibson SG Bass, but it is a pretty decent bass. It covers a lot of genres, you can play things like Jimi Hendrix to punk to metal. Plug it in the right amp and this thing rocks!
If you can deal with the neck dive and you are looking for a decent straight forward bass, give it a try!
This bass is beautiful! I mean, the finish and built quality on it are wonderful. Thats what made me pickup this thing and start playing it. I was then disapointed... The sound is all "Rock N Roll", the tone knob does a pretty weak job. Therefore, slappin it just doesnt work. Its sad, but this bass takes "strait foward" too seriously.
A low of excellent quality and with a very affordable price. Good material in the construction of low user. Within the values the best option for amateur musician.
This equipment is ideal for those with little money and need good equipment. I recommend too
