With the DSL5C CW Country Western, the traditional Marshall British manufacturer is launching a limited edition of the popular Bedroom Combo, which stands out optically with its cover of embossed Tolex and the special front covering.
Behind the jewelry exterior, the Marshall DSL5C CW Country Western Limited is equipped with the same features as its serial-produced brother. The two-channel preamplifier, equipped with three ECC83 channels, offers a broad sound spectrum with a typical Marshall character, ranging from crystal-clear Clean to fat crunch and rich High Gain Rock . The sound can be adjusted with the help of the tone 3-Band control, in addition the Tone Shift and Deep Preset provide further possibilities for shaping the sound. The former hollows out the mids for a modern Rock - or Metal -sound when switched on, while the latter influences reproduction and dynamics in the bass range.
The power amplifier based on a ECC99 tube provides five watts of output power, which are output via a 10" Celestion Ten 30 loudspeaker. This is equipped with a ceramic magnet and with its vocal mids and articulated trebles it fits perfectly to the basic character of the Marshall DSL5C Country Western Limited . If required, the output power can also be reduced to 1 Watt.
