Doepfer A-182-1 is een multi-distributeur module voor modulaire synthesizers in Eurorack formaat. In tegenstelling tot de A-180 heeft elke bus een schakelaar die bepaalt of het signaal naar lijn 1 of 2 wordt gestuurd. Alle stopcontacten waarvan de schakelaars dezelfde stand hebben, zijn met elkaar verbonden. Zo kunnen drie en vijf stopcontacten of vier en vier stopcontacten snel worden aangesloten en kan de meervoudige vrij worden geconfigureerd.
Doepfer A-182 Switched MultiplesThis is a very "simple and easy "to use expansion everybody should have on their Modular.
A standard Multiples-board only lets you couple 2 or more inputs/outputs simply by adding a switch per connection you get a serious increase of possibilities: couple 2 sets and/or deactivate any number of sets.
Its installation is very straighforward: DISCONNECT power, open case, plug the module in a free slot, tighten 2 screws and done. No Engineerings-degree necessary -)
Conclusion: Cheap does NOT mean low-quality or useless. This is more than worth its money.

Great simple design from doepfer. I use this module to "perform" turning elements in the music on and off, but more creative uses can be had. In combination with a precision adder, the switched multiples is great to combine different melodies into a new melody, route a single source to multiple other destinations and so on. Good module for affordable price.
