I ve made some comparisons to plugins
The GAP is beefier, has an optoinfluence
Not to fast, not to slow, just good for what it must be
I was a little confused because of a b-stock retour item, that was n accurate on the meterwhen reducing the gain reduction. I ve oredered an other one, because i have 2 in my rack.
I also use the 76 and 2A cloons, i ll think it is a different piece in the studio
Still to discover when and where to use.
Initial i ve made a chain for kick and snarewith an old dbx166xl, the result was satisfying but still to improve.
I ve changed the normal setting to mod and 50db, the results where better.
Pro is the side chain knob on the front
Con is small switches in the front, and the external power supply instead of IEC in the rack.
Looking forward to receive my new device and do some more tests.
Petty that thee are no more options on a 3A cloon
