De Jackson JS-serie Dinky Arch Top JS22 DKAM Black Stain is een betaalbare Metal gitaar met eerste klas features voor beginners en gevorderde spelers. Zo heeft de elektrische gitaar heeft een okoume body in een trendy Black Stain finish en een geschroefde esdoornhouten hals met grafiet inleg. Met zijn "Speed Neck" profiel en compound radius toets biedt hij de perfecte basis voor snelle riffs en eindeloze solo's. De twee Jackson High Output Humbuckers in de hals- en brugpositie zorgen hiervoor voor de juiste sound. Indien gewenst kunnen ze de versterker onder stoom zetten en met elke riff of solo met strakke bas, gefocust middenbereik en briljante hoge tonen door de bandsound snijden. Daarnaast is de Jackson JS22 Dinky voorzien van een Jackson 2-Point Fulcrum Tremolo en precieze Jackson tuners.
Jackson JS22 Dinky DKAM Black StainI love the raw sound of the Jackson humbuckers. Guitar is lightweight and the neck feels comfortable. The tremolo system does not have the steadiness of a Floyd Rose system, but is good to use - though frequent tuning is necessary.
Overall: great guitar, nice price & good quality sound!
A pretty good guitar for the money. I bought it to find out if extented range guitars are my cup of tea. It looks good and plays well. I am used to an Gibson Les Paul studio but this guitar seems easier to play. Set up could be better. Tje low A and E hit the fretbord when playing around the 4th and 5th fret but that can be remedied by lifting the strings at the bridge. A 54 gauge low A is probably a better choice than the standard 52 gauge. The pick ups sound a but to dark but all in all a neat guitar to get aquainted with a 7string.
