This plug is very versatile, you can add it either to a PC casing or a USB device casing, because you can invert the internal plug construction, so the outside sees either a USB A or a USB B plug. Build quailty is very good. No more fumbling in the back of a cabinet to find that darn USB plug of the device you'd like to connect, but a nice clear plug that is suitable to mount either on or behind a panel. For higher speeds / current ratings you can also take a look at the USB3 variant which works the same but has the larger (blue) USB B plug.
