De Austrian Audio OC818 Studio Set is een Condensator Microfoon die een frisse wind door je studio laat waaien en een buitengewone oplossing biedt voor opnamestudio of live toepassingen. Bijzonder is de tweede uitgang, waarmee producers, engineers, musici en toekomstgerichte artiesten de achterwaarts gerichte capsule apart kunnen opnemen. Samen met de gratis open source PolarDesigner software voor Mac en PC levert dit ongekende capsule controle en Polar Pattern aanpassing tussen één en vijf banden met selecteerbare overgangspunten.
Om de OC818 flexibel in real time te configureren voor complexe live set-ups of soundchecks, kan een optionele Bluetooth dongle worden bevestigd aan de achterkant van de behuizing. De PolarPilot App voor Android en iOS biedt toegang tot het gedrag van beide capsules, evenals het hoogdoorlaatfilter en de pad-schakelaar. Deze speciale tool maakt een ongekende 255x discrete Polar Patterns mogelijk tussen 8x all-cardioid versies tot en met omnidirectioneel.
De Austrian Audio OC818 wordt geleverd in een koffer met de OC818 grootmembraamcondensatormicrofoon, OCS8 microfoon SMount, OCH8 microfoonklem, OCC8 Mini-XLR adapter en OCW8 windkap.
Austrian Audio OC818 Studio SetWe were having some problems with either the room or the Mic that we were using (probably the Mic as it was the only one giving us some annoying resonances) and after some consideration, we decided to take a chance and put this mic to the test, recording strings and background vocals. I'm absolutely happy with the result and we managed to get some insanely good recordings with this microphone, which will save us a lot of time when mixing the tracks. I haven't been able to try out all of the additional features yet, but I don't think that this Mic will spend much time inside of its case - and I'm already thinking about getting a second one (and replacing the previous pair - but it may not even be needed with the dual capsule) Also: great service by Music Store Professional and thanks for getting this Mic to us on time to re-record the parts that we wanted. This really saved our recording session this week.
