It's like putting a humbucker in de bridge of your strat, because it has a nice high output, it gives a good overdrive and it's dead quiet. But all the single coil characteristics are still there. It's snappy and crisp en gives a great twangy sound in the between position (combined with an Area 67). The bridge pickup in a strat is always harsch and shrill, bur this one is smooth and trebly without the ice pick highs. Best upgrade you can do on a Strat!
