De Epiphone Les Paul Special TV Yellow straalt het sterke karakter uit van het studentenmodel met dubbele pick-up uitrusting. Het body design volgt de authentieke singlecut vorm van de jaren vijftig en presenteert met zijn TV Yellow Finish een historische klassieker van het Gibson kleurenpalet, terwijl de Kalamazoo Headstock doet denken aan historische Epiphone instrumenten. Het halsprofiel van de gelijmde mahoniehouten hals is ook gebaseerd op de rounded '50s shaping van het origineel en biedt de gewenste feeling van de krachtige '50s Les Paul halzen. Epiphone's P-90 PRO pick-ups in soapbar behuizingen produceren scherpe rock sounds met gezonde punch en bite, waardoor een zeer veelzijdige setup ontstaat met aparte volume en tone controls, terwijl de hardware setup van de Epiphone Les Paul Special TV Yellow bestaat uit een Lightning Bar wraparound brug en Vintage Style stemmechanieken.
De Epiphone Les Paul Special TV Yellow representeert het klassieke Gibson Fifties Singlecut design met dubbele P90 uitrusting.
