This is an awesome guitar that's punching way above its weight. It looks stunning, it sounds very authentic and it feels great.
That said, it's not perfect;
I thoroughly checked the finish and the setup upon arrival. The finish was immaculate, but the neck relief needed slight tweaking. And second, the bottom half of the tone knob makes it sound a little muffled, mostly on the neck pickup.
Those two however are the only things I could discover about the guitar that were not amazing. The neck feels fantastic, the frets are level and not sprouting even a little, the intonation was spot on and the lacquer is so awesome. Because of the flat lighting, pictures online don't do it justice. It has a subtle metallic sparkle and the colour shifts slightly towards green or blue depending on the light. The only thing that could make it look better would be a maple fretboard
This would make a great gig worthy instrument for any guitar player, and because of the crazy low price, it's basically accessible to anyone.
Since I'm a bit of a tinkerer, I bought it as a modding project. But that's mostly because I like the process. This guitar doesn't need mods in any way shape or form to be great. It is a very easy guitar to mess around with since it's a telecaster, which it's the most simple guitar imaginable
Try it out, it's awesome
