Paiste 2002 Crash 22"

Awesome cymbal. It's a low pitched crash, or a subtle thin ride. I cannot stand the sound of the smaller 2002 cymbals, but this one is amazing. It's the sound of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Colour Haze and Brant Bjork.
The cymbals are heavy and very suitable for slow paced heavy rock. These are NOT allround cymbals. I would never use them for something like Jazz. They are also very loud, much louder than my Zildjian K's and Istanbul Agops, but they aren't overly bright. They are very clear and articulate, but still warm sounding. It's a very different timbre from Zildjian cymbals for instance. These cymbals are pretty much the opposite of 'complex' sounding jazz cymbals. I would describe the 2002's as simple sounding, but in the right music that's exactly their strength.
