The FBT Vertus CLA 604A is a compact, active 2-way column line array for professional sound reinforcement applications. Thanks to its controlled sound dispersion, high power reserves and modular system design, the loudspeaker is ideally suited for speech reinforcement, live music, presentations, conferences and permanent installations.
Sound reproduction is provided by six 4-inch woofers and four 1-inch neodymium tweeters with a specially tuned waveguide. The dispersion pattern of 100° horizontally and 20° vertically enables wide yet focused coverage of the audience area. The frequency response ranges from 130 Hz to 20 kHz.
The FBT Vertus CLA 604A is a fully active system. The integrated Class D power amplifiers deliver 400 watts RMS for the low-frequency range and 100 watts RMS for the high-frequency range. With a maximum sound pressure level of up to 125 dB peak, the system offers sufficient headroom for demanding sound reinforcement tasks.
An integrated DSP with four selectable EQ presets allows the system to be adapted to different applications. In addition, volume control, a high-pass filter and status indicators are available directly on the loudspeaker.
Multiple FBT Vertus CLA 604A units can be combined using the integrated quick-connect system. The individual modules can be aligned horizontally by up to ±30°, allowing the coverage to be flexibly adapted to different room sizes and audience areas.
An XLR input and an XLR link output are provided for signal routing. Power is supplied via PowerCon, whilst a PowerCon loop output enables the power supply to be passed on to additional modules.
The powder-coated aluminium enclosure with a sturdy steel grille combines high durability with a low weight of just 9.5 kg. With its slim dimensions, the CLA 604A can be discreetly integrated into both mobile set-ups and fixed installations.
