Thanks to the 30" short scale (762 mm) and the traditional Fender offset design, the Fender Mustang Bass PJ convinces with an easy playability. With alder for the body and maple for the screwed neck, traditional woods are also used, while the Pau Ferro fingerboard is a real innovation. This hardwood, also known as Brazilian ironwood, has a classic look and high durability.
The pickups used on the Fender Mustang Bass PJ PJ Pau Ferro Fretboard are a Fender Vintage Style Single Coil on the bridge and a Fender Vintage Style Split Coil in the middle position, which are managed by passive electronics with 3-way toggle and general volume and tone controls.
