The new RPmk3 series headphones are successors to the reputed RPmk2 series that have been used as reliable monitor headphones in many professional recording studios for more than 30 years including from the start of the T-series. The driver unit incorporating the key Fostex proprietary Regular Phase (RP) Technology diaphragm has been refined to achieve sharper audio reproduction for more accurate monitoring. The housing, ear pads and head pad have also been re-designed to derive the maximum performance of the RP driver.

Fostex T50RP mk3 halboffener StudiokopfhörerHe took two pairs of this model. One was discounted from return. It turned out to be defective on the left earphone. The resistance of the left is 46 Ohms and the right (correct) 48 Ohms. Therefore, the center of the sound picture is much shifted to the right. Wish - to report such problems when selling returnable headphones or to make a more substantial discount!
The other pair was new and there are no complaints. Very flat frequency range. I recommend for mixing or mastering.
