The G&L Tribute L-2500 RW Blueburst is a versatile electric bass that provides bassists with the perfect tool for almost any musical style. The classic construction with a sump body and a screwed maple neck is used first, while MFD Humbucker and the active Tri-Tone system offer an extensive range of sounds. The body made of sump ash and the maple neck held in the "Medium C" profile are firmly connected to each other by six screws.
The G&L Tribute L-2500 RW Blueburst is based on the classic construction method with traditional design. Accordingly, the five-string has a body of swamp ash, which is connected to the maple neck by six screws. With the "Medium C" profile, which nestles perfectly in the hand, the bass also offers a high level of playing comfort, so that on the rosewood fingerboard every groove comes out of your fingers with playful ease.
Two G&L MFD humbuckers and the Tri-Tone system provide a wide range of sounds on the bass amplifier.
With the combination of passive G&L Magnetic Field Design humbuckers and the active Tri-Tone system, the G&L L-2500 provides an enormous tonal variety, making it the all-rounder for every genre. The MFD humbuckers convince with a powerful, balanced reproduction whose basic character can be adjusted via the Series/Parallel switch. In addition, the active 2-band tone control for bass and treble can be bypassed on request, so that the pure passive sound of the pickups is available.
G&L tuners in open vintage style guarantee precise tuning of the five-string.
Last but not least, the G&L Tribute L-2500 RW Blueburst is equipped with indestructible and highly functional hardware. The G&L Saddle Lock bridge supports the smooth response and sustain with its solid construction, which includes a base recessed deep in the body and lockable string riders. At the same time it allows an optimal tuning of intonation and string position. In addition, G&L vintage-style tuners at the headstock guarantee a precise and stable tuning.
