With the Montreal Montreal Premiere Bigsby Sunburst Highgloss, the Canadian family business Godin presents a semi-hollow archtop singlecut electric guitar that convinces with its versatile sound between blues, jazz and rock. The sophisticated instrument comes with a number of clever features such as the "Breathe Through" center block made of spruce wood and professional hardware from Graphtech.

The laminated Canadian wild cherry body gives the Godin Montreal Premiere Bigsby Sunburst Highgloss a warm sound with resonant response supported by the unique "Breathe-Through" center block. This is carved from spruce and has an aqueduct-like structure that results in a smaller contact area with the ceiling, so that it can swing more freely than with conventional constructions without being carried away by feedback.
Two Godin Custom humbuckers deliver a warm, open sound for expressive electric guitar playing. The Bigsby Vibrato decorates melodies and chords with shimmering modulations.

These double spools convince with their open, airy sound, whereby the neck pickup sings with warm voice, while its counterpart at the bridge works with harmonic assertiveness. Especially at the border between clean and overdrive, these humbuckers show their full strength and put the sound shaping into the hands of the player. The traditional circuitry with a 3-way switch and general volume and tone controls can be used to call up a wide range of tones.
The hardware of the Godin Montreal Premiere HB comes from Graphtech and Bigsby. The Tune-O-Matic style GraphTech Resomax bridge enhances the attack and overtone spectrum of the guitar, while the edge-free surface provides a comfortable contact surface. With the traditional Bigsby Vibrato tailpiece you can decorate melodies and chords with gently shimmering modulations. Godin tuners at the headstock also ensure precise tuning;
