The J & D ABG-1 Black acoustic bass offers a stage-ready range of features and comfortable playability at an incredibly affordable price. The large jumbo body and the full-size 34" long scale length (864 mm) promise a particularly sonorous and powerful sound image, which is transferred with natural dynamics and warmth to amplifiers or recording equipment by the integrated Fishman Presys pickup system. Last but not least, the slim "C" neck profile offesr butter-soft playability up to the highest positions, whereas four die-cast tuners ensure that the J & D ABG-1 Black is tuned precisely and stable.
For a particularly powerful sound, the J&D ABG-1 Black features a full 34" long scale length (864 mm) and a large body in jumbo format. The combination of a laminated spruce top with laminated mahogany back and sides promises a particularly warm sound with a deep bass foundation and silky treble range. The slim maple neck in the comfortable "C" profile can be played effortlessly and smoothly.
With the high-quality Fishman Presys pickup system, the J & D ABG-1 Black is perfectly equipped for use on stage and in the recording studio. The pickup impresses with a particularly natural reproduction of the bass sound that captures warmth and dynamics in detail. A classic 2-band EQ is provided for adjusting the sound, whereas the phase switch helps to suppress unwanted feedback. The J & D ABG-1 Black can also be tuned quickly and accurately with the integrated tuner of the Fishman Presys.
J & D ABG-1 4-String Acoustic Bass Guitar, BlackThe head nut is defective regarding of height of the thinest string over fingerboard. It is too low and makes terrible noise especially on open string.
Second problem it is different loudness of 2nd string. The volume of that string by 2 or 3 times less.
I think it can be repaired, but i am not going to order china made cheap string instruments anymore.
