The A300 is designed as a classic 3-way reference monitor with timed sound conversion by FIRTEC(TM). Like the legendary ADM20, the A300 emits all frequencies in such a way that they arrive at the sound engineer's ear at the same time, without a time delay.
The tonal neutrality and this timeliness allow it to be used in all areas of professional production processes, for recording, as a mixed monitor or in mastering as a final reference. Equipped with a 10" high-performance bass driver, the 2" dome midrange driver and a calotte-free 1" tweeter driver, it transmits from 26Hz upwards and offers sufficient reserve for any volume. The design of the amplifiers and power supplies ensures extremely low-distortion playback with minimal distortion.
Our patented FIRTEC system filters ensure phase-linear, time-correct reproduction over the entire frequency range. The waveguides hide the cabinet edges and linearize the frequency response in addition to the digital signal processing. The 1'' high-frequency ring gradiator used ensures low distortion reproduction even at higher levels. Whether connected digitally via the analog input with 24Bit / 192 KHz AD converter or losslessly from the workstation, the A300 impresses with its easy integration into the studio setup.
The high and low shelving filters, which are accessible on the amp side, allow quick installation and room adaptation, which can be refined with the optionally available RC-100 by additional internal filters if required. Three freely configurable peak EQs as well as high and low shelving allow the system to be adjusted to the listening position. The monitoring volume can also be controlled directly in the monitor so that a digital connection with fullscale level directly from the master output is guaranteed without loss. Another special feature is the converterless connection of the 3 PWM power amplifiers, each with 250W RMS power. This direct connection prevents converter losses and leads to an extreme resolution in the time and tonal range.
