Marantz PMD-750

The PMD-750 from Marantz Professional is a digital camera radio system for uncomplicated sound recording in interview situations, one-stop filming as well as news and reporting. The camera-mounted system was specially developed for production with SLR cameras and operates in the 2.4 GHz band, which is free of registration and fees.

This system includes everything you need to start recording directly: the PMD-750T bodypack transmitter, the PMD-750R  receiver, a lavalier microphone with windscreen and the short spiral cable to connect the receiver to a camera.

Compact and powerful

Despite its compact size, the PMD750 system ensures optimum performance and best sound quality during recording. Thanks to internal signal processing with 24-bit resolution, a sample rate of 96 KHz and a dynamic range of over 110 dB, all details of a scene with all its fine nuances can be captured.

Setup is extremely easy thanks to intuitive operation, easy-to-read OLED displays and automatic pairing. The system offers a total of 16 channels, so that several radio links can be operated in parallel. The two displays on the receiver and transmitter also provide status information on signal strength, channel & battery level. The antennas mounted inside the housings offer a sufficient radio range for all applications of over 30 meters with a very low latency of only 4.5 ms.

Ready for professional use

To provide more flexibility, it is possible to couple the PMD-750R receiver to a second transmitter simultaneously. The PMD-750T bodypack transmitter and the PMD-750TA XLR clip-on transmitter are available separately to expand the system. Longevity is a must for professional use, which is why it is powered by standard AA batteries, which allow quick replacement even after many years.

The transmitter and receiver have a lockable 4-pole mini XLR connector as well as a reliable wire belt clip and thus guarantee a secure connection of the connections and a secure hold on the body. Thanks to the additionally mountable hot shoe adapter, the PMD-750R receiver can be conveniently mounted directly on your DSLR camera. In addition, there is the short coiled cable supplied to connect the receiver and camera.
