With the PRS SE 245 2018 Whale Blue Paul Reed Smith presents a chic singlecut electric guitar from the popular SE series. Based on the proven construction with mahogany body including maple top, glued neck and the comfortable 24.5" scale length, it delivers versatile vintage sounds for every musical style with the power of two PRS SE 245 humbuckers.

Paul Reed Smith provides the classic mahogany body of the PRS SE 245 2018 with a solid maple top and a Riegelahorn veneer, whose intense grain is brought to life by the transparent whale blue finish. When playing the guitar, the glued mahogany neck with the "Wide Fat" profile lies full and comfortable in the hand, whereby the short 24.5" (622 mm) scale allows smooth string pulling and even complex chords and melodies can be easily handled. In addition, the traditional PRS Bird inlays between the 22 frets of the rosewood fingerboard provide the best orientation.
On the amplifier the PRS SE 245 2018 Whale Blue convinces with versatile vintage sounds, with which the electric guitar makes a perfect appearance in every musical direction, no matter if pop, blues, rock or even metal. The two PRS SE 245 "S" humbuckers in the neck and bridge position are responsible for this, providing a harmonious sound image in the clean channel as well as in overdrive and distortion. The neck pickup convinces with its soft low end, the vocal singing mids and the silky highs that make every note sing, while the bridge pickup precisely represents every note without masking the warm vintage character thanks to tight bass, focused mids and brilliant highs.
