The Paiste Color Sound 900 Series crash cymbal is made from a B8 bronze alloy, also known as 2002 bronze by Paiste connoisseurs. The sound is relatively bright and rich, the 900 Series crash cymbal gets its voluminous character from undertones that round off the sound with warmth and punch. Thanks to an extensive frequency spectrum, the 900 Series Crash is universally applicable and an enrichment for every drum and percussion setup. The black finish ensures a strong presence on every stage.
All Paiste 900 Series cymbals are made from a B8 bronze alloy, better known as 2002 Bronze to many. The mixture of 92% copper and 8% tin is known for its warm, brilliant and expressive sound character. The 900 Series machine pre-fabricated cymbals are hand-hammered and lathed by the experienced Paiste cymbal staff, a real specialty in this price range. The special finish gives the 900 Series Cymbals a dark lustre and enhances optical trimming patterns and hammer marks for a spectacular appearance that combines roughness with elegance.
The innovative design gives the 900 Series drum cymbal great flexibility and excellent playability. The sound is rich and warm, peppered with well-proportioned treble. Larger and heavier models also have a good level of brilliance, sharpness and projection. The core of the program focuses on crash and ride cymbals of various sizes in medium and heavy strength. A selection of hi-hats, splashes and chinas completes the program.
The colorful finish of the Color Sound 900 Cymbals is extremely durable and easily withstands even the toughest shows. The color coating produces a somewhat drier sound, shortens the sustain by a few nuances and provides a more focused attack.
