With 5.4 mm thin boilers made of the finest maple and lots of pro features, the Decade series from Pearl has a price/performance ratio that is unparalleled! Many noble finishes and a wonderfully warm maple sound speak for themselves.
The 6-ply maple kettle with 5.4 mm thickness and Pearl's special technology is what sets the Decade Maple range apart from the competition, as it is the product of 10 years of research and several material refinement processes. Each of the transversely bonded layers embodies Pearl's special Superior Shell technology. The extremely resonant kettle produces beautifully round highs and thundering basses with plenty of attack due to its thin but at the same time extremely powerful nature.
The Pearl Decade Low-Mass/Low-Contact trestles guarantee optimal performance of the boilers and allow an unhindered swinging of the decade drums, for the ideal unfolding of the sound. At the same time, the hardware is so stable that it can safely cope with everyday touring.
