The YoDrum is an aesthetic e-drum set with a curved rack made from lightweight aluminum and invisible cabling, as it is enclosed in the rack. The minimalist sound module is also incorporated in the rack and features WIFI and Bluetooth. With these features and the associated Pro App you can select drum kits, backing tracks and in-depth settings easily via iPhone or iPad. All ports, as well as inputs and outputs are easily accessible in the rack. The YoDrum comes with a total of 10 pads, one snare and four tom pads are stereo with two zones, the 3 cymbals even have 3 zones and a choke function, so they can be stopped by hand, just like the hi-hat, which has a separate zone.
The rack of the YoDrum E-Drum Kit is streamlined in U-shape and made of very light aluminum, all cables are laid inside the rack, so you can see only the rack and pads. The space occupied by the E-Drum Kit is 30% less than conventional racks. Another special feature is that the sound module as well as all in- and outputs are housed directly in the rack bar. The sound module is removable. The presets already contain 128 sounds and 6 kits, but these can be extended by the user with an unlimited amount. A metronome is also integrated, as well as high-quality internal effects like Reverb, Chorus, Compressor and EQ. A line out, line in and headphone jack are also directly and easily accessible in the rack.
The modules built-in WIFI and Bluetooth interfaces make the Yodrum a multimedia e-drum kit with a variety of options. The smartphone app can be used to import user sounds, create and edit drum kits, and share user sounds with other YoDrum users. Through an online store professional sounds can be added to the YoDrum module.
The YoDrum consists of a total of 10 pads. The 10" snare pad has two zones and, just like the four tom pads (3 x 8" + 1 x 10"), it is equipped with high quality mesh heads that hardly produce any volume. The two crash cymbals and the ride cymbal are 12" in size and feature 3 zones and a choke function. The hi-hat is 10" and comes with controller pedal. The bass drum pad is also equipped with a mesh and and measures generous 12", the kick pedal is included.
