The Gretsch Electromatic Baritone Jet electric guitar delivers the best of the classic Gretsch sound with an extra-long 29.75" scale and delivers powerful baritone sounds with tremendous clarity and definition. Thechambered mahogany body with scalloped maple top keeps the weight down, while ergonomic contours and a rounded neck heel ensure a comfortable playing feel. The bolt-on maple neck in a performance "C" profile sits comfortably in the hand and, together with the bound rosewood fingerboard, offers the best conditions for precise riffing, deep tunings and atmospheric soundscapes. In terms of sound, the Electromatic Baritone Jet uses two PureVolt Twin Six humbuckers with individually tuned Alnico magnets, which deliver a powerful, dynamic sound with exceptional transparency. Thanks to the push/pull function, bell-like single-coil sounds can also be called up, making the Baritone Jet ideal not only for modern heavy sounds, but also for surf, ambient, alternative or experimental soundscapes.
