Who is the TP-7 for?

• Musicians benefit from the TP-7 both as a 3-channel stereo recording unit and as a high-quality 24-bit / 96 kHz USB audio interface that converts up to three stereo tracks to and from the DAW.
  
• Do you enjoy field recording? Here too, the TP-7 performs well thanks to its built-in microphone. Of course, you can also connect an external microphone to capture the acoustic environment. Your ambient collages and the granular sampler in your modular system need new audio material.

• Of course, you can still record a memo using your smartphone; but by the time you’ve unlocked it, opened the right app and started recording, the idea might already have slipped your mind. With the memo button, you’re just a single press away from recording.
• Even in secretarial offices, doctors’ surgeries, solicitors’ practices and among the self-employed, the TP-7 does wonders: via the iOS app, the device is able to convert audio to text! Simply connect the TP-7 to an iOS smart device via USB or Bluetooth, select a file, tap ‘Transcribe’, and you’re done.
  

Convenient down to the last detail

As soon as you’ve got the TP-7 in your hand, you’ll soon be able to operate it with just four fingers without having to glance at the small but crystal-clear display. A large red LED and the rotating tape reel indicate when recording is in progress. The tape reel is the TP-7’s central control element, as it is used to navigate through the menu, pause the recording until released, and is also suitable for scratching the audio material or slowly scanning through a recording. The rocker switch on the side is used for (quick) fast-forwarding and rewinding a recording; as you do so, the tape reel spins at increased speed in the corresponding direction. The TP-7 is fitted with a built-in rechargeable battery which, when fully charged, guarantees up to seven hours’ operation. The internal storage capacity is 128 GB, which is essentially enough for five minutes of recording every day for over 20 years.
