The FAME DD-ONE Acoustic E-Drum Set combines the look of a classic acoustic drum kit with modern electronic drum technology. Mesh heads on all drum pads ensure a natural rebound feel and highly detailed dynamics. The snare also features position detection, meaning the sound changes realistically depending on where it is struck. The comprehensive pad setup, featuring 2-zone toms, a 2-zone crash cymbal with choke function, a 3-zone ride and a real hi-hat with a separate stand, enables authentic playing techniques such as rimshots, cross-stick, bell strikes or stopping the cymbals – just like on an acoustic drum kit.
At the heart of the set is the PURE DRUM 2.0 sound engine, featuring over 1,500 high-quality drum, percussion and effect sounds. A total of 92 preset kits and 50 freely editable user kits are available. Each pad can be edited in detail – from pitch and decay, through snare buzz and resonance, right down to cymbal size and sustain. In addition, your own WAV samples can be loaded directly via an SD card and combined with internal sounds using layer functions. A wide range of effects, such as pad compressor, pad EQ, reverbs, modulation effects, distortion and pitch effects, enable professional sound shaping for almost any genre – from jazz and rock to EDM and hip-hop.

The Fame DD-ONE Akoustic impresses with state-of-the-art PURE DRUM 2.0 technology, which enables a particularly realistic sound response thanks to high-quality samples, innovative algorithms and high processing power. Strike positions are detected with precision, and typical acoustic characteristics such as snare resonance or different pad sizes are authentically simulated, creating a dynamic and nuanced playing experience. Highly sensitive sensors and mesh heads ensure a natural response and allow for various playing techniques such as rimshots or cross-sticks with impressive attention to detail. Visually, too, the set makes a statement with its wood-effect shells, chrome-plated hardware and a modern-looking module. Furthermore, the system offers extensive sound-shaping options by allowing users to load their own samples, whilst Bluetooth audio and MIDI enable a wireless connection to smart devices. For live use, several individual outputs are also available, ensuring maximum flexibility in signal routing.
Simon Phillips is one of the world’s most famous and accomplished drummers, playing at the very highest technical and musical level and regarded as an idol by many generations of drummers. The former Toto drummer has developed a sound library exclusively for the Music Store Professional, featuring over 120 drum and cymbal sounds, recorded using his Tama Star drum kit.
The various drum sounds consist of approximately 1,100 individual samples, all of which were created by Simon himself. These precise drum samples reproduce the world-famous Toto sound and give every drummer the opportunity to play with a professional sound, even in their own home or rehearsal room.
In addition to the Simon Phillips drum sounds, the DD-ONE AKOUSTIC sound module also features, amongst other things, 77 further percussion sounds, which were recorded in a Cologne-based recording studio and subsequently processed and optimised by the Music Store sound development team. The Simon Phillips sounds are of the highest quality; the individual samples feature extended sustain and a high degree of naturalness.

The powerful drum module of the Fame DD-ONE Akoustic forms the heart of the set and impresses with the modern PURE DRUM 2.0 sound engine for particularly realistic and dynamic sound results. A total of 1,576 preset sounds are available, along with the option to import up to 99 of your own samples, which can be organised into 92 preset kits and 50 freely configurable user kits. The intuitive controls are operated via a 320 × 240 colour TFT display. Eight individual outputs, plus additional stereo outputs in both balanced and jack configurations, ensure maximum flexibility in the studio and on stage. Thanks to the USB audio and MIDI interface, as well as Bluetooth audio and MIDI, the module can be seamlessly integrated into modern setups. Comprehensive sound processing with 13 insert effects, kit EQ and compressor, audio and MIDI recording to SD card, as well as practical tools such as Coach Mode and a metronome with tap tempo, round off the features.
