Pure WAH madness: JAM Pedals Wahcko wah pedal with 6-position frequency selector switch
The JAM Pedals Wahcko combines classic wah sound with extensive options for customising the tone. At the heart of the analogue circuit is a RED Fasel inductor combined with carbon-comp resistors, whilst the frequency range of the wah effect can be adjusted to suit different instruments and sounds via a 6-position rotary switch. In addition, there is an internal trimmer for adjusting the input gain. A special feature is the bufferless circuit design, which allows even impedance-sensitive effects such as germanium fuzz pedals to be used behind the Wahcko without any problems. Furthermore, the pedal can be used specifically as a static sound filter: simply leave the wah activated in a fixed position and use the 6-way switch to select different frequency characteristics for rhythm and lead sounds.
