The Meinl B024VSM Byzance Vintage Smack Stack 10"/12"/14" consists of three thin discs made ofB20 bronze that combine to create a unique sound. The sound can be adjusted to your own preference by tightening or loosening the cymbal stand wing nut. Tightened tighter gives a crisp Attack and short Delay for quick accents, while a looser setting gives a longer Sustain. Meinl Smack Stacks work perfectly in combination with a snare for stronger backbeats, the sound with electronic character can even function completely as an alternative to the snare.
