Stereo sampler from 1010 Music
The Nanobox Tangerine from 1010 Music is a stereo sampler with the rack sampler feeling of the 90s. The very compact device with touchscreen is polyphonic with up to 24 voices as long as the samples fit into the 64 MB internal memory. Alternatively, up to eight samples with a maximum size of 4 GB each can be streamed directly from the microSD card. Complex multi-samples with up to 16 velocity levels and 576 WAV files in one Preset are a routine task for the Nanobox Tangerine. Anyone who has had the pleasure of working with the studio samplers of yesteryear will recognize some parallels in the way they work. Of course, there are also plenty of typical sampler parameters such as start position, length, pitch, gain, filter, loop mode, start quantization, ADSR, slice placement and sequencing, MIDI note and channel assignment and more to be able to use the samples as desired. Sample import and export is straightforward via microSD card; of course you can sample directly via the audio input. There are convenient functions such as recording start on audio signal, definable recording length and immediate output after recording for live loops. Thanks to resampling of the master output, more complex single sounds and Loops can be created at the touch of a button. The 2" touchscreen and the two knobs help to create an intuitive workflow, so that you can quickly reach the desired parameter and shape sounds. Samples can also be assigned to a program and fired directly via the touchscreen. Extensive MIDI implementation as well as common MIDI and audio connections allow easy integration into any setup.
