2hp Snare is a drum module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. Snare goes from short blips to 909 hits and can also play all snare sounds in between. More than just a typical snare sound, this module is a powerful sound design tool that inspires exploration. 1V / Octave-Tracking allows percussive melodies with atypical tones, while the texture of the metaphorical membrane snaps into place
This is a decent module provided you don't expect to get great-sounding snares out of it. I am disappointed on that front, but instead use it to create rimshot/klave/click sounds which can be pitched v/oct over a decent range. If you think of it as a pitched 'percussion module' and not a dedicated snare, it is a great module in 2hp, but if you want a good-sounding snare, look elsewhere as this really doesn't have the depth of sound. DV247 were good as normal.
