Akai LPK25 MkII at a glance

The LPK25 MkII from Akai Professional is a USB keyboard controller with a highly playable 25-key velocity-sensitive keyboard. Thanks to the octave keys, the total pitch range amounts to ten octaves. The extensively programmable arpeggiator offers six playback modes, eight bar dividers including triplet values, 1-4 octave range, and even a five-step shuffle function for funky basslines. In addition, there are eight assignable memory locations as direct access for programs, this feature is managed with the free included MPC Beats Music Production software.
