Akai MPX8 SD Sample Player - Sonic LAB Review

Akai MPX8 is a sample player with eight backlit pads. With the sampler, musicians are able to load their own samples via SD card and assign them to the pads. The MPC pads respond to velocity and pressure dynamics. The MPX8 comes with a sample library that provides an extensive sound library for live musicians and studio productions. The sample player has an intuitive user interface, and the backlit Display makes the MPX 8 easy to operate even in low light. In addition, the MPX 8 comes with a drag-and-drop sample editor for Mac and PC that converts and assigns samples. The samples can be altered in pitch or supplemented with reverb and then saved as kits. For integration into different setups, the musician has access to a headphone jack, two balanced 6.3mm jack outputs, 5 Pin DIN via 3.5mm MIDI In/Out and USB MIDI.
