The WMS 470, Sportset B7 is designed for setting up large multi-channel systems and allows maximum freedom of movement. It consists of the SR 470 receiver, the PT 470 pocket transmitter and the C 544 L headband microphone.

The headband microphone is very robust, is extremely comfortable to wear even with long hair, and offers optimum speech intelligibility. The elastic mounting of the capsule effectively suppresses structure-borne noise. The C 544 L’s cardioid polar pattern effectively filters out ambient noise. A drip ring prevents sweat from entering the capsule and provides the microphone with extensive protection against moisture.

SR 470 Diversity Receiver

The SR 470 diversity receiver allows up to 16 channels to be operated simultaneously within a single frequency band. By combining several frequency bands, it is possible to create systems offering absolute operational reliability with up to 48 links. Thanks to the automatic frequency selection, which finds and displays all available channels in a matter of seconds, operation is straightforward even for non-technical users. A pilot tone transmitted with the audio signal prevents background noise by ensuring the receiver only passes the audio signal once the transmitter has been detected. On the SR 470’s ‘ Display ’, changes in colour indicate critical operating conditions, such as ‘ z.B. ’ (transmitter battery low), low remaining battery life, audio signal peaks or low RF field strength. The PT 470 bodypack transmitter can be used to connect instruments and all AKG microphones with a mini-XLR connector.
