This carpet will suit you in many ways. I will use my example to explain better. My pedals and bass legs were slipping everytime i played for more than 2 hours.. I really like this mat it folds to a smaller area making it easy to oack aaay.

Only trouble is the strap and catch are sewn into a corner almost of the mat and such could easily be stepped on and broken.

Id be happier if it was removable
