StreamingDirectPlay and cloud integration for limitless music libraries

With StreamingDirectPlay, you can access supported music streaming services directly and integrate new tracks into your DJ set without having to download them first. Apple Music, Beatport Streaming and TIDAL are supported, whilst support for Spotify will be added in a future software update .

The built-in Info Search suggests suitable tracks during your set based on artist or album information, making it easier to discover new music.

Thanks to rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, you can use your music library stored in Dropbox or Google Drive directly on the XDJ-AN. Cloud Library Sync automatically synchronises playlists, hot cues and other changes between your computer and the device, ensuring your library is always up to date.

Playlist management directly on the touchscreen

The high-resolution touchscreen allows you to manage your entire music library directly on the device. You can create new playlists, edit existing ones, and add, remove or reorder tracks – all without a laptop.

You can also rename playlists or set new hot cues directly on the XDJ-AN. All changes are automatically synchronised with your cloud library. In addition, the cloud-based Playlist Bank permanently stores your prepared playlists, so that they are immediately available again even after the device has been switched off.

Flexible performance with apps, USB and DJ software

The AlphaTheta XDJ-AN supports numerous playback sources and adapts to your personal workflow. As well as playing music from USB sticks, the system now also works with mobile DJ apps such as rekordbox for iOS and djay for iOS for the first time. This means you can even DJ using just your smartphone – even without Wi-Fi, provided your music is stored locally.

For recording and live streams, the XDJ-AN also supports the DJM-REC app. When a laptop is connected, the system is compatible with rekordbox for Windows and macOS, Serato DJ Lite and djay Pro, offering maximum flexibility for a wide variety of DJ set-ups.

Club-standard layout and wireless SonicLink monitoring

The control concept is based on professional club set-ups featuring the CDJ-3000 and DJM series. This makes the transition from the controller to club equipment particularly easy and ensures a familiar feel during every performance.

For even greater freedom of movement, the XDJ-AN features a built-in SonicLink transmitter. When used with compatible headphones such as the HDJ-F10, this technology enables virtually delay-free, wireless monitoring with a latency of just 9 milliseconds – without the need for additional transmitters or cables.

AlphaTheta has equipped the XDJ-AN with a high-quality audio architecture that delivers a clear, powerful and balanced sound at any volume. Thanks to professional XLR master outputs, additional RCA outputs and Bluetooth® input and output, the system can be flexibly integrated into a wide variety of DJ and sound reinforcement set-ups.
