An authentic recreation of the Charlie Christian pickup of the 1930s, the Amber CC-150 delivers the classic sound of the famous jazz guitarist. The original Plain Enamel wire in AWG38 thickness was wound by hand around the blade magnet in order to match the sound character and output to the forefather of the magnetic pickup from the early ES-150 models. The CC-150 develops a clear sound with a large dynamic range and almost acoustic characteristics, which are especially suitable for organic leads and differentiated chord work.
