The Amphion AMP 700 is a modern high-performance power amplifier for demanding studio operation with a maximum output of 700 W per channel. This achieves an outstandingly wide dynamic range with the lowest distortion factor. The design of the power amplifier is based on the efficient and extremely impulse-true Class D principle. To adapt to any passive monitors and to compensate for the often peaky sound of pure Class D amplifiers, a buffer in classic Class A circuitry has been added to the output of the power amplifier.
In addition to the XLR inputs, the rear of the AMP 700 is equipped with connections for banana plugs, bare speaker cables and fork cable lugs. With the Amphion AMP 700, you achieve maximum flexibility and benefit from the opportunity to purchase handmade passive monitors with the highest design standards and the matching power amplifiers from one and the same company.
