The Amptweaker TightMetal JR is the absolute secret weapon for hot metal sounds. Located in a pedalboard-friendly compact housing, the full analog circuitry delivers first-class high gain distortion, which can be adjusted for gain, tone and volume using the classic controls. The three-step tight switch determines attack and response, while the EQ switch determines the sound behavior in the midrange. Thrash" stands for a brutal mid-scoop, while "Smooth" boosted highs and mids. Last but not least, there is an adjustable noise gate on board, which stops every note hard when needed and thus helps to play galloping staccato riffs.
