Antimatter Crossfold is a wavefolder module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. The compact, 8-stage dual-voltage controlled crossfader and analog wavefolder / waveshaper is capable of producing subtle to extreme distortion, convolution and experimental synthesis. The voltage-controlled balance of two audio sources before processing by the wavefolder creates crossfolds, unexpected and complex sound interactions that can resemble thru-zero FM synthesis, bizarre distortions and even more mysterious results. The Fold- and Range-Controls can be modulated by control voltage and provide the main intensity level, whereby the Range-Control sets the scope of the fold control. The scope ranges from one stage to eight stages and works in the positive as well as in the negative range. The output of the module has three stages: voltage controlled dry / wet of the input cross fader, wet vs. input 1 and final VCA to complete a voice or provide amplitude modulation of the output.
