The Ape Labs Neon Tube PIX is a versatile, battery-operated LED light tube with a length of 100 cm, which was specially developed for use in event lighting, on stages and for film and TV productions. Its weatherproof housing (IP65) makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use - or as a decorative element, effect light or targeted lighting solution.
Thanks to 96 high-quality LEDs, divided into 32 individually controllable pixels, impressive color gradients and dynamic animations can be created. Multi-pixel presets can be conveniently selected and adjusted via app or remote control. The integrated combination of RGB and warm white (2700 K) not only provides brilliant color effects, but also natural-looking light with a high CRI value of 90 - perfect for use in front of the camera.
The powerful and homogeneous illumination with a beam angle of 180° ensures a consistently uniform light image - without visible pixels. The flicker-free LED control (>2 kHz) makes the Neon Tube PIX ideal for professional film and video recordings.
For maximum mounting flexibility, the Neon Tube PIX is equipped with five M6 threads on the end caps and an integrated safety eyelet. Neodymium magnets enable quick attachment to metallic surfaces. Optional accessories such as a tripod base for vertical placement or a truss adapter for mounting on trusses (item no. 100123) further extend the range of applications.
The powerful rechargeable battery unit enables operation for up to 15 hours - alternatively, continuous mains operation is also possible. Control is via the Ape Labs remote control, a smartphone app (iOS/Android) or via wireless DMX (CONNECT/CRMX). Various DMX modes (4, 7, 32, 128 channels) as well as functions such as music mode, automatic repeater function (up to 1200 m range), pairing and cloud storage offer a wide range of creative possibilities.
