The BOOM is a compact USB audio interface with premium sound for a wide range of applications. No matter if you are a musician, want to create a podcast, produce videos or do live streams - this device accompanies you in the studio, at home or on the road and enables professional audio recordings in 24-bit/192kHz format.

With Boom you benefit from transparent sounding microvon preamps, crystal clear digital conversion and the ability to sonically shape your input signal thanks to built-in hardware DSP. Simply connect the interface to your Mac, iPad Pro or Windows computer and you're ready to go!

For nearly four decades, Apogee has perfected the art of analog recording in a digital world. Boom continues this legacy by focusing on the details and high quality audio components, taking your projects to a new Level.

The stages in the conversion process use high-quality analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog components, not low-end codecs
All audio inputs accept a professional maximum input level of +18 dBu to ensure an undistorted audio signal even with the loudest sources.
Microphone preamps provide 62 dB of gain to capture even the most sensitive sources clearly and accurately
The zero-ohm headphone output also provides an audiophile experience that can drive even high-impedance hi-fi headphones with power, clarity, and a perfectly balanced frequency response

Onboard DSP

The Apogee BOOM is the first audio interface in its class to feature an onboard hardware DSP. With the Symphony ECS Channel Strip you can process your input signals via 3-band EQ, compressor and a Drive control for analog warmth.

The Perfect Stream

Thanks to the on-board mixer and loopback mode, you can intuitively drive live streaming sessions and freely shape the mix. Listen to your Spotify playlist, in-game sounds and chat notifications simultaneously and at optimal volume.

2 In - 2 Out

Do you want to connect a microphone and a guitar? Or rather a synthesizer? No problem with the two inputs, while on the back you'll find the speaker and headphone outputs to evaluate your recordings.

Touch & Go with iPad

BOOMis compatible with any iOS device*, making the interface the ultra mobile solution when creating recordings "on the go". With the ECS Channel Strip and a few touch movements, you can shape your sound in an instant.

*Connection to Lightning devices requires an Apple Camera Connection Kit and an external active USB hub.

The Road-Ready Sidekick

The rugged steel chassis and small size also play a BIG role when it comes to creating content on the go. The rubber feet on the bottom ensure a good stability
