The Arturia Beatstep offers a new dimension of functionality. On the one hand, this Pad Controller can be used to trigger clips in Ableton or to control individual drum sounds. The Beatstep is also a 16-Step sequencer, which can ne connected via USB, MIDI or even CV. This allows virtual plug-in instruments as well as hardware instruments to be controlled. Particularly the owners of older analogue instruments from pre-MIDI ear will enjoy the ability to effortlessly integrate CV devices via USB/MIDI. Even iPad users can use the Beatstep with the Camera Connection it.
