The Audient EVO 8 is an intelligently designed 4 in/out audio interface with DSP mixer and routing matrix. The device delivers professional sound quality with the simplest operation in a compact format and is ideal for mobile use thanks to its USB power supply. Four warm and full-sounding preamps and a JFET Class-A instrument preamp are installed. A new auto-gain function automatically finds the correct level at the touch of a button, preventing clipping and ensuring optimum gain staging.

With its 2 headphone outputs, the Evo 8 is also suitable for use by two people, whether recording songs or recording interviews or commentaries.

Another special feature of the Audient EVO 8 is that the phantom power for channels 1 to 4 can be switched on independently if, for example, a condenser microphone for vocals is to be used at the same time as a dynamic microphone for the amp pickup. The loopback function allows the sound of the computer to be recorded simultaneously with an external sound source such as a voice microphone - perfect for Skype interviews or podcasters who want to record computer game commentaries.
