Audio Damage ADM14 BoomTschak is a completely analog drum and percussion Eurorack module with a corresponding punch. With a tracking over seven octaves, the module can also be used for generalizing melody voices.
The modula is based on one VCO , one noise generator, three envelopes, one multimode resonance filter and several VCAs. The one VCO with a triangular core has the waveforms sine and triangle. A wave shaper is available to generate harmonics by wave folding. Newly created sounds can be triggered at any time via the " Manual -key".
By means of the Mix -controller it is possible to blend continuously between the pure oscillator signal and the noise generator. If the "Filter Input" input is used, an external signal can be looped in instead of the noise generator. In addition, an attack noise that can be adjusted in the timbre is added.
For further sound shaping, a multimode resonance filter follows, which can be modulated either positively or negatively by the noise amp envelope, the pitch envelope or the audio oscillator.
The three envelopes ( Tune , Amp, Noise-Amp) can each be adjusted in decay time and control characteristics (from strong exponential to linear), a CV input is available for each decay time.
Furthermore, the oscillator frequency, the filter frequency and the mixing ratio between oscillator and noise can be controlled externally via CV.
