Audio-Technica AT 875R - short and light robust shotgun microphone
The Audio Technica AT 875R Shotgun Microphone is designed for video production and broadcast (ENG/EFP) audio acquisition. Audio-Technica’s shortest shotgun microphone, it mounts conveniently on a DV camcorder without adding noticeable heft, and is ideal for use with compact digital cameras. This high-performance microphone offers a narrow acceptance angle of line + gradient design. It also features smooth, natural-sounding on-axis audio quality and excellent off-axis rejection of sound arriving from the sides and rear of mic.

DV247 offered the best price with free P&P and the AT875R arrived promptly and well packed. I haven't used the mic yet but it was recommended by my fellow professionals who consider the AT875R to be a very versatile, lightweight and excellent value mic. I will be mainly using it as a top-mic on my Sony FS7 camera.
