The ATS99 is a dynamic vocal microphone with a hypercardioid characteristic that was specially developed for live use and impresses with a modern, powerful sound: the mid and bass range is pleasantly emphasized, while the extended transmission range of 60-16,000 Hz provides transparency right up to the treble. A highly efficient magnet in combination with a step-up transformer ensures precise pick-up of loud signals - especially in the lower mid-range - and a fast transient response. At the same time, the internal shock-mount decoupling minimizes handling and hand noise, while the hypercardioid suppresses sound coming from the sides and thus enables high feedback resistance on loud stages and in rehearsal rooms. The robust, machined aluminum housing weighs just 262 g and is comfortable to hold; the integrated 3-pin XLR socket guarantees a reliable connection in everyday use. With its open-circuit sensitivity of -52 dB (1 V/Pa, 1 kHz) and 600 Ohm impedance, the ATS99 is recommended as a professional all-round handheld microphone for vocals, announcements and content creation - from club gigs to studio takes.
