Two selectable stereo modes for maximum adaptability

Thanks to its two integrated capsules(line cardioid and figure-of-eight) in the mid-side (MS) arrangement, the BP4027 offers maximum flexibility. Two stereo modes can be selected with just one switch:

• Wide recording angle (LR-W) for more space and atmosphere
• Narrow recording angle (LR-N) for focused, low-noise recordings

Alternatively, you can record the non-matrixed MS signal directly and adjust it in post-production to perfectly match your production.

Ideal for distant sound sources and ambient noise

Thanks to its high directivity and excellent ambient noise suppression, the BP4027 is perfect for recording distant sound sources - such as nature recordings, film sets or theater productions. At the same time, the sound remains natural and uncolored, even with off-axis signals.

Compact, lightweight and robust

Weighing just 142 grams and measuring 38 cm in length, the BP4027 is extremely lightweight and is ideal for use on boom poles, cameras or tripods. The robust construction made of high-quality aluminum withstands even the most adverse production conditions.

Three switching positions for individual control

• MS (Mid-Side) mode - recording of raw signals for post-production
