Small diaphragm microphone with cardioid characteristic

The Audix SCX1-c is a professional studio small condenser microphone, ideal for recording, broadcast and live sound applications. The SCX1 is available with three different polar patterns: Kidney, hypercardioid and bullet.

The microphone has an extremely even frequency response, a very high output level and high sensitivity. In addition to the overhead pickup of percussion instruments, it is therefore particularly suitable for the pickup of orchestral, string instruments, piano grand pianos and vibraphones.

The 21mm gold vaporized capsule can reproduce sound pressures of up to 130 dB without distortion. The best mechanical processing and the highest quality individual components stand for high robustness with the lowest risk of failure. The Audix SCX1 is therefore also a reliable touring companion.
