Bärenreiter Satie: Selected Piano Pieces

With his very own style, Erik Satie created a completely new compositional technique that turned completely away from the musical aesthetics of Romanticism. Thus, he primarily focused on simple, clear compositions, which also strongly influenced new music, popular music and jazz.

On the occasion of the publishing house's centennial, Bärenreiter presents Satie: Selected Piano Pieces, a selection of Satie's popular pieces for piano. In addition, the edition includes prefaces and notes on interpretation, which Satie experts share with dedicated pianists for support.
