The Bastl Instruments Wackel Kontact Broken Contact Emulator Module is a broken contact emulator in the form of a 2 x 4-way multiple with a size of 1 HP. The Wackel Kontact emulates that vintage sound of broken cables and bad contacts – something that may have been a total pain in the past but is now something sought after.

The Wackel Kontakt can also be used as a 1 HP blank panel or as a cable hanger. To use the Wackel Kontakt, take a broken patch cable and place it in the connector hole that you wish to calibrate. Keep on pushing the cable in and out until you’re satisfied with how broken your patch is.
